    1. As you know Brahe built his own observatory on his island. Kepler met Brahe in 1600 in the city of Prague, Czech Republic.Until this point Kepler was only interested in science and mathematics. Soon after Kepler met Brahe he became interested in Astronomy. Brahe then asked Kepler to be his assistant.

    1. Galileo used a crude refracting telescope where he first magnified 8x and later magnified up to 20x.

    1. Galileo saw that Venus went through phases much like our moon does, but the phases Venus went through only made sense with Venus going around the sun instead of Earth.
