    1. It takes anywhere between 10^67 to 10^100 years to evaporate depending on the size of the black hole.

  3. Since black holes can be any size, is there any record of the largest black hole or the smallest black hole ever discovered? What determines the size of a black hole since it can vary?

    1. The largest black hole is between 6 and 37 billion solar masses in size and the smallest is between 1.7 and 2.7 solar masses. Solar mass is what determines the size of a black hole.

    1. Not that I know of. If you get too close to a black hole the gravitational pull is too strong that nothing can escape.

    1. It has been said that a UK team of physicists claim that have been able to stimulate the same properties inside a black hole event horizon in laboratory conditions.

  11. The only thing safe from being sucked into a black hole in the black hole itself, everything else that reaches a certain distance from the black hole will be sucked inside. A black hole can even suck in another black hole, which results in a combination of the two black holes.
